The promotional balance transfer APR is 0% fixed APR for 6 months from the account opening date on balance transfer transactions. After that, your variable Standard Purchase rate applies to any outstanding balance you may have. To start receiving the promotional rate, balance transfer transactions must occur within 3 months of opening the account. The 0% fixed promotional APR does not apply to card purchases or cash advances. It only applies to balance transfers, and balance transfers and purchases made by using the Promotional Convenience Checks that arrive with your Welcome Kit. Welcome Kit Checks used 3 months after opening the account to do a balance transfer or make a purchase will post to your account at your Standard Cash Advance APR. The Standard Cash Advance APR is 21.15% variable. If your account is consistently past due or you are always late at making monthly payments, the fixed promotional rate may increase. The Default/Penalty APR is 29.99% for all balances consistently past due or late monthly payments.

 

The Platinum with Rewards APR for purchases is 8.99% to 19.99% variable. The Standard Purchase APR is assigned at account opening and determined after your application and your credit history is reviewed.

 

Once your application is approved and have accepted Platinum with Rewards Credit Card account, you are automatically enrolled in the Wachovia Possibilities Rewards Program to earn points. Points will be earned based on net dollars of purchases at a rate of 1 point per dollar for Platinum with rewards. Points may be redeemed for travel merchandise, retail, and restaurant certificates and gift cards which may be redeemed with participating merchants.
